Terms of use
The rules for using Capital Roles, in plain language. By using the site or buying a pass you agree to them.

Who we are
Capital Roles (capitalroles.com) is operated from Texas, United States. In these terms “we” and “us” mean Capital Roles, and “you” means the person using the site. You can reach us at admin@capitalroles.com.
The service
Capital Roles lists open jobs at US banks in one place. Searching and reading job listings is free for everyone. A pass adds research tools for a set number of days. Some of those tools are still being built; a pass includes each one as it goes live.
Job listings
Every listing is the bank’s own posting, read from the bank’s public careers site. We do not write the postings and we are not the employer. We check each bank’s site every night, but we do not guarantee that a listing is accurate, complete or still open, or that applying will lead to an interview or a job. You apply with the bank directly, on the bank’s own site.
Accounts
An account is created when you buy a pass. There are no passwords: you sign in with a link we email to you, which works once and expires after 15 minutes. Keep access to your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. One account is for one person.
Passes and payment
Passes are sold at these prices:
- 365-day pass: $50 (US dollars), 365 days
- 30-day pass: $20 (US dollars), 30 days
- 7-day pass: $7 (US dollars), 7 days
A pass is a one-time charge. It never renews and we do not store your card for future charges, so there is nothing to cancel. Buying a pass while one is active adds its days to the end of the current one. Payments are processed by Stripe; prices may change, but a change never affects a pass you have already bought.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 48 hours of buying a pass, with the “Refund my pass” button on your account page or by emailing us in the same window. After 48 hours passes are not refundable. The details are in our refund policy.
Acceptable use
Please use Capital Roles for your own job search. You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl or copy the site in bulk, or use bots or other automated tools to access it (search engines that follow our robots.txt are welcome);
- resell, republish or redistribute the site’s content or your access to it;
- share your account or sign-in links with anyone else;
- interfere with the site, get around its limits, or access parts of it you are not meant to;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
Our content and yours
The site’s design, text, tools and the way the listings are organised belong to us. Job postings, and the text quoted from them, belong to the banks that publish them.
If you report a hire, you may choose to let us quote you. We show a quote only with that permission, and only with your first name and role. By giving permission you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to show that quote on Capital Roles and in our own marketing. You can withdraw permission at any time by emailing us, and we will take the quote down.
Coaching and advice
Coaching, guidance and everything else we offer come with no guarantee of interviews, offers or employment. Nothing on Capital Roles is legal, financial or HR advice.
No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond those written in these terms, including that it will always be available or free of errors.
Limit on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost earnings or a missed opportunity, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Ending your use
You can stop using Capital Roles at any time, and ask us to delete your account (see our privacy policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. If something goes wrong, please tell us first: before either of us starts a legal claim, the one making the claim sends a written notice describing it (yours to admin@capitalroles.com), and we both try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days. There is no arbitration. If it is not resolved, the claim goes to the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed, and we email members about any material change before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
